Well it was slow, long and yes painful. Not exactly what you want when you are running but I am finally back at it after a very long layover. Back in January, I did something that caused my to have back pain every time i would come down on my right foot. I ran 5k in January and one in March. It had been sometime that the Chiropractor and I were finally able to work it out.
Last Tuesday, I finally got back to the running. It was slow, it was long, and yes it hurt but I did it just the same and got through a 4 miler. I had no idea how much it would hurt the next day. OMG did I find the Advil fast. Anyway i did take an extra day off and ran again on friday. I feel pretty good, although it is just like starting over. I will keep working at it.
I saw the results from the 5K/10K for Hospice in Marysville in the paper. I was amazed at the time by people in my age group. I then ran mine and went how in the hell am I going to make 20 minutes for a 5k. Well, I guess I will keep running for my health and hope that I live long
