3rd in my age group for the half! Boy, this route was AWFUL! Round and round and round back over the same course over and over - all highway - no spectators - nasty hills. UGH!!!!!

- You were seriously just ahead of me in the half! I probably watched you pass by me multiple times!!!!! Your pace was 8:05, mine was 8:08. Too funny!!! My legs were still seriously hurting from Boston Marathon 3 weeks earlier. Those hills SUCKED!!!!!!!!! I had no idea you were 39! You look like a little young thing. I'm 40! Great - next year you'll be in my age group.

- Renae! I don't guess I realized you were running the Mother's Day Half! I ran it too! Or did you run the 5K? The half course SUCKED - it was truly awful and boring and I hated every step. I heard the 5K was super easy so it was fun. GOOD LUCK WITH THE CASCADES 10K. I've run that one a couple of times. I think my next race will be Rock the House 8K at Fairfax Govt Center June 7th.
