REINVENTION
To say that I have been blown away by the support I have gotten from my sweetheart wife, family, friends, Goon Squad members, other runners, bloggers, Facebookers, Twitterers, Daily Milers, Just Finishers, and bike shop and radio colleagues, would be an understatement. To bless you all would take too much space here. You know who you are. You were the much-needed padding in the walls I've been bouncing off of for three weeks.

- haha I'll only know for certain if I can do Trieste or Prague next year but it is on the top of my 'To Run' list! What about Amsterdam or Rotterdam? I think we can convince Laura to run one of those!

Jim Brennan said… - Thanks Michael. This one was a little tougher I think because, I didn't completely training back up. Did listen to podcast #58. Went as far as creating an Excel spreadsheet to determine n optimal pace. 1/5 ratio with 9:45 run sgment. I will use it some time, but Sunday wanted to run with Deb and Kristi. Thought that was more important. Later

- Michael -Finished my first marathon. About 4:41 on my watch, although they haven't posted the results yet. Overall happy with the experience. Don't too beatup. No blistering. My beginner program didn't really prep me. Needed more miles. Ran out of gas about 23 miles and Gallawayed myself in. All in all though a good day. Saw a lot of fJF riends and will turn around now for Cleveland which is the real goal.

- Thanks for the note. I think I am ready. Funny because you start to freak out during the taper. Not having run longer that 10 miles in 2 weeks. But how bad can it be. I am going out slow and let my training do its thing. Leaving for Cancun to 'rehab' and rehydate on Monday so that's not bad.
