Hello everyone!!
When I joined the JustFinish.com community, I was also just about to sign onto Ironman Switzerland. And then, I was also just a few weeks away from heading to England to vie for a coveted spot on a very cool disaster-relief team of volunteers called the ShelterBox Response Team (SRT).

Channahon, Illinois is the home of the longest-ever consecutive annual event in Will County, Illinois. I'm heartily pleased to say that the 30th annual running of the Frosty Five Mile was nowhere near as lame as that claim to fame.
Last year's Frosty Five Mile was truly, truly frosty: -23 with the wind chill factored in, and nasty winds all along the mostly out-and-back course (part of the course is set on the causeway in a lake). Only 130 people showed up for the race, and, if you needed any fu… Continue

Last year, the Lake Channahon Frosty 5 Mile was held in -23 degree weather (I think that's with the windchill). This year, I hope it's better.
