Best race: 2006 Charlotte Thunder Road Marathon - 2:51:00
Steve, I'm fairly new to both the 100 push ups and 20 chin ups, as I-Phone applications. I plan on starting the 200 sit ups and squats programs soon. I was wondering if you have considered something along the line of "50 dips". Even better yet, the push ups, dips and chin ups combined in one system would create a near complete upperbody work out for people who don't like to work out with weights.
My dad is a runner and biker. He's done the Bike transcontinental bike tour 4 times! Across the country in 26 days or something crazy like that, anyway, he told me I shouldn't run everyday. What are your thoughts?

Hi Steve,
Welcome to my post, I changed my name a little. Expect many comments from me. I'm a newbe. My life is hectic with 3 kids, work, school and marriage. I mentioned at work one day that I wanted to run a marathon. A physician I work with asked "why? you don't even have the time". I didn't know how to respond. It sort of crushed my little marathon spirit. What's your advice? Have you met other mom's that have achieved such a thing? I figure that it can be done, I can set my alarm for early mornings and train. Can you train on a treadmill?
