My first Crim! No PR, but within a minute. It was a great time!

I ran the BWL 5k in Lansing. It was a hot august morning. Nice time, the whole family finished!
I finished my first 10 mile race. The Mint City 10 Miler in St Johns. Great morning for a race, about 54 deg. when I left house.

I finished the Sunfield IGA 5K! 10 overall, Second in my age group. I felt like they were trying to give me my money's worth. I had about 3.25 miles on the Garmin. Great run!
Ran Ele's race for grieving children in Okemos this morning with 1400 of my closest friends. I finished 24th in my age group with a 24:24. That was easy to remember!

To celebrate BWL 125th birthday, commemorative medals
will be given to all 5k finishers.
Course: Accurate 5k on all paved roads.
I raced the Portland St. Patrick Festival 5k. 3rd in age group. Clara finished 3rd in her age group .2 seconds off her PR. It was a well run race. Good times were had by all!

- In April 2009, my daughter Clara suggested that we run the Komen "Race for the Cure" in Lansing. She had just finished her track season and I thought I would support her. 6 months later I had finished 16 road races including a half marathon. My only regret is that I didn't start earlier!

- Your current BQ time is 3:30, but in 2012 it goes up to 3:35. Happy running.
