Finished my first marathon the Flying Pig! All I can say is WOW to think I just started running last summer.

I know what you mean about the stress fracture. Next Saturday is my first race back from a lower tib sfx. Was off 5 months. Now finished 9 weeks of re-entry running and feeling the return of strength and endurance. Will be running in the Toad Suck 5k/10K in Conway, Arkansas. Looking to break 29:30. Leg feels like new !

Thanks guys. I'm starting to feel like I've regained some of what I lost when I had the pelvic stress fractures. (2007)

I took third in my age group (60-64) today in the Borgess 5K with a time of 23:34. Total finishers was 1650 so it was a fairly big race.
I'm happy.

I got 20 miler in last week but I'm being careful this week with the Go! St. Louis half coming up this weekend and then the Illinois Marathon on May 1.
