it is now 0430 sunday morning in seoul & i'm getting ready to head to the starting area around 0500. best estimates are 30k people are registered to compete. because of very strict traffic restrictions the race limit is five hours. barring injury that shouldn't be an issue. hopefully i'll see you on the other side of the finish line in a few hour with all the gory detail & pictures. as always, i run this race in honor of my son jon & all the other fine men & women serving in our armed forces around the world...OOHRAH!

arrived in seoul yesterday. took my last run before the race this morning & picked up my race packet this afternoon. (it's friday evening here - 13 hours ahead of EDT) i'm as ready as i'll ever be...so bring it on!

Joe -- I think it was a great race especially coming off an injury. I googled snow shoe marathons and got an education. I did not know about these being from below the Ohio River. They really look like fun and give yet another meaning to "endurance" event.

Managed to finish a 1/2 snowshoe marathon in Vt on Sat.Time was 4:52. I know, not great, but man, those Green Mountains were brutal! First race post ITB/Achilles. Plan to return next year better prepared and trained to Just Finish the whole thing!

Got my Just Finish.com Tech shirt today. Man it's nice ! Thanks for the cool stickers too guys !! Cant wait to wear it at my next event. Already bringin' lots of comments from my not so fit friends. This shirt allows me to be a proponent of being over 50 and a runner. I like being the ambassador for "the curious but don't know where to start crowd". Glad to be running again since the Sfx.

Off the Sidelines and on the Whitelines !!

Now doing 30 min. 5k's and easin' in to an intermediate 10K program in about a month.
