Hey Dan - I'm a little sore but last night I took a hot bath with sea salt (or you can use Epsom salt) and I'm feeling much better. I know that one of our team members said this is the most sore she's ever been after a marathon. The head winds and the chill in the air didn't help either - take care and be well. I'm gonna go on a gentle walk this afternoon and I'm stretching, hydrating and eating bananas. Prayers and love surround!

Is anyone else besides me still sore today. Those downhills sure beat my quads up. Of course having the five weeks prior to the marathon off didn't help either.

I will be cheering everyone on next year - even though I qualified, once is truly enough. Congrats to everyone! It was so awesome to see Derv out on the course and his hug and encouragement meant the world to us. What a community! what love!

Nancy,
I'll bet we stood pretty close to each other at the start. My number was 20076. My original plan was to aim for 3:45 but with the injury and time off I was guessing more like 5:00 to 5:30 so I was close.
I won't be doing Boston again, the logistics are just too difficult and costly. I can always say I did it though.

Ran Boston in 3:57:07. Am so happy!! Requalified. Next year will be my 10th consecutive Boston. My bib number was 20,303 and I moved up to under 15,000. Knew I had it at the 20 mile mark. Ran the last 6 strong.

Ok everyone, how did you all do? I managed to finish in spite of taking the last 5 weeks off due to injury. 5:13:40 which isn't great but any time with that much down time is good.

I have completed the first leg of my trip and am now in Chicago where I will join the group. We fly out to Boston tomorrow morning.
Good luck everyone.
