I am going to interrupt my training for the Walt Disney World Marathon to run in the Jingle Bell Run in Port Huron on Saturday. It will be my 4th year in a row and it can't be as cold as last year.
Well you know how it is in the winter. You're just itching to get back into the running season. I'd doing the Kaiser Permanente San Francisco Half again, Feb. 7. I'm following that up with the New Orleans Rock n' Roll Mardi Gras Marathon, Feb. 28, the new Oakland Half Marathon, March 28, and the Pescadero Artichoke Half, April 11. I'm on standby to hear if I'll get an Achilles Track Club disabled athlete entry for Boston. The time requirement is 6 hours and I just came under that at the New York City Marathon. They only have a few slots so I'm not too hopeful.
Next event will be a New Years Day (fun run) in Naples, Florida. 5km along the beach road. should be fun, I am with my mother and 2 kids, so getting up early (6am) New Years day should not be a problem!! LOL
Roofy Runner Girl and Tom's next event is the Hyannis 10K. Tom and my next event, God Willing is the Disney 2011 Half Marathon (and hopefully I'll have some events before that).
