Running the Elizabeth River Run 10k in Portsmouth, Virginia (May 23rd)

There's a cool age-graded competition going on with The Tidewater Striders going up against a joint Colonial Road Runners/Peninsula Track Club team. I'm on the Striders roster - should be fun and and a great way to spice up an already competitive race!

Taking some time off this summer, but my next race will be special, because I will be running it with my dad. We will run either the North Face Endurance Half outside Washington DC, or the GEER half outside of Charlottesville, va. Both races are in September and both are on trails.

My next event is the Women's Ride for Heart Health, tomorrow in Freeport, Maine.

Then June 19-21 is the Trek Across Maine - a 180 mile bike ride over 3 days to support the American Lung Association of Maine.

Team McManus' next event (that's me, Roofy Runner Girl and Tom) is the Corrib Pub 5K. It's been a year since we did that race a year ago - it was my first ever 5K road race -- we're excited to do it again this year. Proceeds benefit Boston's neighborhoods.

I'll be running the 5K as part of the Blue Water Hospice 24th Annual River Run & Walk tomorrow. Should be a good turnout for local Just Finish members!
