No run for me today, plan calls for CT, so hitting the gym for my first spinning class in over a year. I can feel the sit bone pains in my tushie already LOL
I ran 3.5 miles outside yesterday. This was my first run since October 2008. I was suprised how fresh my legs felt. It felt great to get ouside and run!
Week 4, Tuesday Run: 3 easy miles on the treadmill. I upped the incline each half mile just for fun! I also spent about 10 minutes on the bike and made a quick circuit around the strength machines.
Yup! Yesterday to make up for missed run last week (had 3 exams and spent pretty much every minute studying) I ran 3 miles at lunch. Today, I ran 2 miles after school. My calves have been pretty sore, but I like feeling sore! Makes me feel like I got something done!
OMG I thought I was going to die on mile 7 but I kept making myself go - one more mile... and then one more mile - until I couldn't go anymore. Woohoo.... I am proud of myself for feeling good still!
I was scheduled to run 6 miles, but due to the sub-zero wind chill decided it was wisest to run 3 today and 6 tomorrow. (temps supposed to "warm-up" on Thurs.) Even though it was 3 miles, it was such a struggle. Breathing was off....felt like I had weights on my body. : {
Am trying to shake it off. Running is such a mental game.
4 miles on the treadmill. I AM SO SICK OF THE TREADMILL!!! Felt pretty crappy, but I'm excited to head outside tomorrow for a short run. Gotta heal these ailing shins!
