2nd Annual Pot O'Gold Fat Ass 50k-ish

Feeling lucky? Come out and have some shamrock-ing fun on the Poto!

This is an unsupported, unmarked, free, fat ass style 50k-ish trail run with the start and finish at Silver Lake in Pinckney Recreation Area.

Course:  See trail map in comments below.  Follow the gold dust, leprechaun footprints or the rainbow if you see them but there will be no official course markings.

The Official non-official course will be the 14+ and 17+ mile loops of the Pinckney-Potowatomi Trail. 

Be a "Complete Ass" and run the 17+ mile loop and then the 14+ mile loop for the ultra distance, or just be "Half Assed" and run the 14+ mile loop twice for the marathon distance.

Aid stations:  Umm... "unsupported" means BYOA (Bring Your Own Aid).  If interested bring something yummy that we can set out on a picnic table or hood of car or tailgate of truck to munch on after loops or at finish.

Awards: First to the pot of gold can keep it.

Directions to Park: From I-94, go to US-23 North, (it jogs in Ann Arbor, and actually joins up with M-14 for awhile, but stay on US-23 North), exit on North Territorial Rd.(first exit north of M-14). Head west 10 miles to Dexter Town Hall Rd. Turn Right (north), go one mile and the park is on the left.
 
From I-96, go to US-23 South, exit on North Territorial Rd.(first exit north of M-14). Head west 10 miles to Dexter Town Hall Rd. Turn Right (north), go one mile and the park is on the left.
